About the company
The German company RECO was founded in 1980 and has been developing and producing electronic control systems and switchgear since its foundation. The company's headquarters and production facilities are located in Troßdorf. RECO offers a comprehensive range of services, from the development of a process-specific automation project to the manufacture of the required electronic controls, switchgear and valves, all the way to commissioning and training. Every year, more than 30,000 industrial ventilation and process control systems are equipped with RECO products. RECO solutions are used in the fields of air pollution control, mechanical engineering, production, mining, pharmaceutical and food industry. All control systems are manufactured to meet all standards, including those for operation in potentially explosive atmospheres. The quality of the products is proven by the company's ISO 9001 quality management system certification.
RECOMATIC electronic control systems
The RECOMATIC systems are designed for applications in various industries and consist of controllers and I/O modules based on microcontrollers with integrated EEPROM. RECO has developed its own data bus, R-IMC-Bus (RECO Inter Module Communication Bus), based on RS-485 interface with connection to PROFIBUS physical network for data exchange between the components. For measuring instruments and automation products, RECO manufactures a wide range of transmitters, controllers and sensor modules, specially designed for use in different environments. All RECO product front panels have protection class IP 66. The ProfiLine product range includes controllers and I/O modules with Profibus. The CompactLine product line comprises R-IMC control systems, controllers, I/O modules, visualisation and input terminals. The EasyLine and BasicLine product lines include various stand-alone filter controllers and compact motor controllers for air filtration systems.
Switching systems
RECO switchgear is designed and manufactured to European EN and international IEC standards. The use of automation control systems enables a wide range of possible applications for switchgear systems. Thanks to a PLC in most units and R-IMC-Bus or Profibus compatible modules, decentralized configuration of the control components and easy integration into the process control systems is possible. The special-purpose switching systems can be used in the pharmaceutical and foodstuffs industries, for installation in explosion-protected switchgear, for underground use as well as in power stations. Valves and tank flushing systems
RECO VTEC valves have been specifically designed for pulsed pressure filtration. Valves and tank venting systems complement the company's product range. RECO manufactures various solenoid valves with large cross-sections and optimized flow rates. RECO diaphragm valves are designed for use in fast-flowing filter cages and feature short closing times with the new Power-Reflex diaphragms. Fuel tank venting systems in aluminium, available in various diameters and shapes, can be used to create tank venting systems. VTEC's product range includes the VS-DN 25 angle-diaphragm valve, the NG 4 solenoid valve, the ST 148 to ST 172 tank scavenging systems and various accessories.
