Long sensing distance capacitive sensors (KXS / KXA) are based on the three-electrode measuring principle. This measuring principle enables considerably longer sensing distances compared to the two-electrode capacitive sensor principle.

Capacitive level measurement systems (KFS / KFA / KFX)

Capacitive level measurement systems (KFS / KFA / KFX) operate on the three-electrode principle. With this principle, a container or an additional electrode serves as a counter electrode to the probe electrode.
