Piec wyposażony jest w precyzyjny, elektroniczny regulator temperatury pozwalający regulować i utrzymywać temperaturę od temperatury otoczenia +/- 5oC do 1250oC. Oznaczenie wykonuje się w atmosferze dwutlenku węgla, którego przepływ regulowany jest zaworem połączonym z rotametrem. Urządzenie zawiera układ oczyszczania i osuszania gazu, a 3-drożne zawory umożliwiają przepłukiwanie przestrzeni roboczej urządzenia przed pomiarem.
