About the manufacturer

The German company Mollet Fullstandtechnik GmbH has been specialising in the development and production of safety components for bulk material storage devices (silos) since its foundation in 1983. The company was founded by Wolfgang Hagelheit in Ostenburken and started operations in 1983 with the development and production of hose couplings with limit switches. In 1988 these couplings were further developed, resulting in the introduction on the market of an intelligent system for detecting the secure connection of couplings. In 1990 the company developed the MSD series of pressure detectors. In 1991 an automatic overfill protection system for mine hoppers was launched. In 1999 the company develops the DF series of rotary level indicators. In 2002 the company is certified in accordance with DIN EN 9001 for compliance with the quality management system. In 2008, the new building is completed and the office and production facilities moved there. 2011 marks the completion of the development of continuous level measurement devices using microwave technology. In 2012 the introduction of an online visualisation system for filling levels in silos begins. The same year the company entered the Asian market. Today Mollet Fullstandtechnik GmbH has become one of the leading manufacturers of equipment for safe silo operation. The company offers a wide range of individual silo overfill or overpressure protection, as well as complete safety systems. Mollet Fullstandtechnik pays constant attention to testing the equipment it manufactures for durability and long-term performance under extreme operating conditions. This is why the company's products are certified for use in hazardous areas.

Weighted level gauges

MOLOSbob level measurement systems consist of a tensioned metal strip with a moving weight. When the weight touches a surface, the tension on the belt is released and this is detected by the electronic MOLOSbob. The measured value is then stored, the weight returns to its original position and the measurement cycle is repeated. By changing the type of weights it is possible to measure the level of different bulk materials. The measurement results can be visualised using the display module. Measurements can be taken at temperatures up to 150 degrees Celsius. The devices are constructed in protection class IP 67 and are certified for use in potentially explosive atmospheres.

Rotary level gauges

The DF series of rotary vane level switches can be used for level measurement of not only dry bulk solids but also of moist, sticky or oily substances, at temperatures of up to 1200 degrees and pressures of up to 100 bar.

Diaphragm level switches

The MF membrane level switch is used for level measurement of bulk solids by means of diaphragm sensors that change their position under the influence of the substance or material to be measured. The different diaphragm materials and the various sensor designs allow for level measurement of bulk solids of any density and granularity. This makes the measurement solution very economical as it does not require an additional power supply. Additional advantages of this sensor type are its long maintenance-free service life and the location of the sensor outside the tank to be filled.

Pendulum level switches

The PF pendulum level switch is used to detect the level of powders and granular materials by means of a pendulum level switch. This solution is characterised not only by its simplicity but also by its high reliability of readings.
