The interface is used between the incremental encoder and the receiving electronics. Operates at any standard operating voltage from 5 to 28 VDC. Up to eight modules can be combined into an optical network to provide multiple simultaneous outputs to controllers or PLCs. This product does an excellent job of filtering out noisy signals by converting them to another driver output, and the bandwidth can reach 1MHz.
